The App Wish-List

This page is the content-holder of all application/game/widget ideas that iPhone and iPod Touch owners have come up with, and would like to see on their devices one day.

• Brad via e-mail asks for:
  A Fantasy sports app, where you can put in all your fantasy sports players, and it will tell you in real-time what they have done on that day, in that season, etc…
• Steve via e-mail asks for:
  A SID player, for the High Voltage Sids Collection. (C64 music files.) Rockbox for older iPods can already play them. Source is pre-existing for a lot of platforms.

  Something like Excel would be very nice.
• jaymzleon of iPod Touch Fans asks for:
  I was playing a game on brainbashers, and its very addicting..its called avalanche.

  I think it would be nice to have some sort of Peggle clone. It’s pretty much the coolest game ever.

  2) If u want to start of simple how bought like a side scroller skateboard game.

  1) hmm… how about a canasta game (wikipedia it for rules) or… firefox?
  2) a touch magazine viewer or a webcomic viewer.

  an early release would be just a two player game then once ur skills increase then u could have it one player.

  1) an ipot alarm fix. so it can actually play music and it actually plays it throught a dock
  2) been thinking about this for a while and i think it would be neat, an application that accesses the itunes store, and plays the 30 second things. put it to nonstop. also maybe be able to do search genres? and if some1 like the song they can click a bottun to go to itunes store and buy it. idk i think it would be really cool
  3) maybe a way to make our own summerboard themes derictly from ipot? for example a way to get picture from online and say set as back or set as wallpaper or set as an icon.

  u so have to make a pocket tanks with nice graphicks.

  Definatly an SMS-app that runs over WiFi, for free! (Or a WikiPedia offline that doesnt reuire Apache/PHP).

  i would like so much a Visualization plugin that would play the Visualizations like the one in iTunes or Media Player 11.
• virtualone of iPod Touch Fans asks for:
  1) Make a macro app that records logins with usernames and passwords in order to get into like school/business networks. For example a network will be open but once you get onto it, there is a place where you need to put in your username and pass. If you could make it so that you could record the login or wtvr for future use to make it faster…That would be good… Or maybe just a proxy server app that hasn’t yet been blocked by most blockers/filters…
  2) Actually if you want something simple and helpful maybe try getting a bunch of transit maps from all the major cities for subways/trains kinda like well I think there is one for singapore in installer but if you could make all the major cities subway maps for example displayable offline that would be cool for people who travel a lot.

  I think you should try to make an app that uses a playlist as an alarm and plays through the headphones or through speakers.
