Muxo Adds Soft Subtitle Support for iPhone Videos

On the Handbrake forums, a contributor has released an impressive tool called Muxo which allows adding soft subtitles to .MP4 videos that are supported on the iPhone.
What are Soft Subtitles?
Soft Subtitles are subtitles that can be turned on and off, rather than being actually encoded into the video itself.
Muxo was designed as an accessory allowing you to add SRT subtitles to a DVD rip. Once you load them on your iPhone you’ll have a menu button, found to the left of the rewind button, which looks like a small quote bubble with text, that lets you turn the subtitles on and off with the touch of a button screen.
entropic of the HandBreak community forums notes that they’ve got a lot planned for this app, and may have a few bugs here and there, so be cautious, and use it at your risk. The user also states that they’ve got ”…lots of plans to extend this tool…”
The best part about it? It’s free!
