SinoCast Daily Business Beat reports that Foxconn, Apple’s Taiwanese manufacturing partner for the iPhone, has begun production of a China-specific iPhone lacking Wi-Fi connectivity.

According to the iPhone Dev Team, there is a well known loophole that has been found in the iPhone 3GS. The loophole is known as the 24Kpwn exploit, and was first found in the iPod Touch 2G, which seems to have been carried over on to the iPhone 3GS.
