YouTube Mobile Uploads Increases Dramatically Since iPhone 3GS Release

With the iPhone 3GS came video recording capabilities. With video recording capabilities, came the ability to upload said recorded videos to YouTube via 3G and Wi-Fi. Since June 19th, 2009, YouTube announces that their uploads have increased from mobile devices by 400% per day.
When watching most of the videos uploaded from an iPhone 3GS, you will most likely find out that there are no reason for them to be uploaded online in the first place. Most of them are boring and annoying to begin with.
I’m sure things will slow down once everyone’s had their fun. I do like the added functionality of being able to record and upload videos using your iPhone 3GS, then sharing it with the world via the Internet’s largest video sharing website; YouTube. This may come in handy to many, although the iPhone 3GS’ video recorder doesn’t have the greatest quality.
I guarantee you that the next iPhone to be announced will have better video recording quality than the 3GS.
