iPhone 3GS Exploit Found, Unlock Immenant

According to the iPhone Dev Team, there is a well known loophole that has been found in the iPhone 3GS. The loophole is known as the 24Kpwn exploit, and was first found in the iPod Touch 2G, which seems to have been carried over on to the iPhone 3GS.
Still waiting to have your iPhone 3GS unlocked from O2 or AT&T? The iPhone Dev Team shouldn’t be too long now. They’ve announced a loophole that has been found within the iPhone 3GS software, and I’m sure will announce further findings as they see fit.
Usually exploits are not announced to the public and Apple Inc. to see, however, the iPhone Dev Team points out that this time around, it seems the 24Kpwn exploit was already cut in before its presence was announced, making it too late to do anything about it now.
Other security loopholes have been closed though, so it’ll take a little bit of time for the iPhone Dev Team to adapt Ultrasn0w to work on iPhone 3GS. Sit tight and watch this space.
