Flash 10 Beta for Smart phone’s Coming this October, No iPhone Support?

Adobe’s Flash Platform is making its way to smart phone’s this October, at least in beta form. First thing that came to mind when I saw this story, was, will it be coming to the iPhone and iPod Touch lineups?
If you know anything about Flash, you will be just as disappointed as I am when I regret to inform you that Flash 10 for smart phone’s has not officially been announced to be compatible with Apple’s iPhone, iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, or iPod Touch products.
According to a slide from Adobe’s Q2 Fiscal Year 2009 earnings presentation, they are on track for a beta release this October at the company’s MAX conference. Prime mobile OS candidates for the beta include those from Adobe’s Open Screen Project, which include Nokia, Palm, Google, and Microsoft.
We’ll have to wait and see if Apple and Research in Motion become a part of this new platform sometime in the near future.
You can count on us to keep you posted.
