AT&T Sold Out of Launch-Day iPhone 3G S Pre-Orders

If you have yet to pre-order your iPhone 3G S, you might want to get on that as soon as you can. Although it is too late for you to get an iPhone 3G S on launch day; June 19th, 2009, you may still get your hands on one just a couple weeks afterward. The longer you wait to pre-order, the longer you will wait to have one in your hands.

Although pre-ordering something like a cellphone usually means you will have one to call your own once they’ve been released to the public, the same thing cannot be said for Apple’s iPhone product. This isn’t new news to us. AT&T has always sold out of pre-order iPhone’s, ever since the release of the first generation iPhone a couple years back. The same thing happened the second time around, with the release of the iPhone 3G. I’m experiencing deja-vu here.

If you truly want an iPhone 3G S, and cannot bare to wait these extra couple of weeks, you may feel free to start a lineup at one of your local AT&T or Apple retail stores any time now. Apart from these two locations, Best Buy and Wal-Mart will also have the iPhone 3G S for sale on June 19th. Same thing applies.
