PC World Shares Their Opinions of WWDC ‘09; Not Impressed

PC World is not happy with this year’s WWDC presentation, or so it seems. They’ve gone and made a list of ten things they wanted to see at WWDC ‘09, but didn’t get.
Here’s my insight on their list of disappointments.
1. The Apple Tablet – I’m guessing that the tablet has quite a bit more work to be done, and will be announced at a later date, if at all.
2. The Elusive ‘iPhone Nano’ – I doubt this will ever come.
3. The iPhone FM Transmitter – I doubt there will ever, or at least, not for a long while yet, an FM transmitter installed into an iPod Touch or iPhone.
4. A New iPod – I truly wouldn’t of minded a new iPod product, but it seems Apple is spending most of their time on their iPhone line up these days.
5. Adobe Flash Support – Although I wouldn’t mind flash support on the iPod Touch and iPod product lines, I don’t expect this to become a reality for quite some time yet, if at all.
6. Removeable Batteries – With all honesty, I doubt any of Apple’s future iPod and iPhone products will include removeable batteries. It’s not that big of a deal.
7. iProd and iFPGA – I’ve never heard of these terms in my life, and to be honest, I’m not too worried about it.
8. MMS and Tethering Support – This will come soon enough. Hold your horses, lads.
9. Carrier Expansion – This really shouldn’t matter to most, as AT&T is said to be the best carrier in America.
10. Steve Jobs – He’s on vacation. Leave him alone. He’ll be back soon enough, I’m sure.
The way I see it, we got a lot of new and improved features, and there really isn’t anything to complain about. Let Apple run things at their own pace. They’ve got a ton of new things for us to play around with until their next feature presentation. Just because these things haven’t been brought up or mentioned at the WWDC ‘09 presentation, does not mean they won’t be coming in the near future at some time.
