MMS & Tethering Functions Found to be Available for Use with Proper AT&T Profile

An Engadget tipster sent the website some images of his iPhone 3G running OS 3.0, and being capable of using the MMS and tethering features without problem.
It is said that this is only possible by upgrading your AT&T profile from version 4.0, up to version 5.0. We are not allowed to share with you where this file can be found, but with a bit of searching around, I am sure one can find it without too much frustration. Upgrading to AT&T 5.0 will turn on MMS and tethering functionality if you’ve got one of the iPhone OS 3.0 beta’s.
For those of you who don’t want to mess around to see these functions in action, feel free to take a look at Engadget’s provided gallery of six photo’s here.
Only four more days until the release of Apple’s iPhone OS 3.0 software, and six days until the release of the iPhone 3G S.
