Apple’s Crappy New Way of Rejecting App Store Applications

Word has it that Apple has brought App Store rejection notices to a whole new low. It has been shown that Apple has stopped informing developers what the problem with their application is, if rejected.

As if there weren’t already enough problems with Apple’s App Store review process already, it is now being said that Apple no longer feels the need to share with you, as the developer, why your application has been denied, if that so may be the case. Apple freely informs you that the application in question has been denied, followed by a sentence stating that they have the right to reject an application for any reason.
The letter posted in image form above, was published from a TUAW reader by the name of Kenneth Ballenegger.
Wow. So we are notified that the application is not approved for App Store uploading, but the company refuses to inform us why? You’ve got to be kidding me. This is just ridiculous in my eyes. Am I the only one that thinks this is going to cause a huge fuss and controversy?
This new way Apple is running things, makes it incredibly difficult for developers to figure out exactly why their app has been denied. There are hundreds of possible reasons, and without knowing the exact reason, there may be quite a few great applications that will refrain from being uploaded to the App Store. Not only does this effect developers and publishers, but potential customers and iPhone owners alike!
Apple, you’ve got to get back on the right track here. Why has the company all of a sudden become lazy? There’s got to be an explanation here..
