Canada’s Providers Rogers and Fido to Release iPhone 3G S on June 19th
by Jody Mitoma on June 9, 2009 at 6:31 pm
For those living up north, such as myself, Rogers and Fido will have the new iPhone 3G S available for purchase in store’s on June 19th, which is only ten days from now.

If you are a new Rogers or Fido customer, you are a lucky one. If you sign up with either of the companies as you purchase a new iPhone 3G S, you can leave the store front with your device, and a 3-year contract plan for as little as CAD $199.99; $299.99 for the 32GB version.
If you are already on a contract with either of the companies in question, you will either want to wait for your current plan to expire, or pay a more hefty fee to get yourself one of the new iPhone’s. However, if you are an existing customer, and are going to be more than 1 year, but less than 2 years into your contract on June 19th, then you are able to get a 16GB iPhone 3G S for $299.99, or a 32GB iPhone 3G S for as little as $399.99.
Like AT&T customers, the choice is yours on whether you want to wait off your current contract, or just upgrade for the extra fine. Let us know what your final choice will be within the comments!
On a side note to us Canadians, Rogers and Fido will be lowering the iPhone 3G price tag down to $99, so if you’re a little short on cash, it’s just about time you get your hands on an iPhone of your own. Ten more days, friends.
