iPhone 3G Unlock Brings Great Intro to 2009
by Jody Mitoma on January 1, 2009 at 9:25 pm

Day 1 of 2009, The Dev-Team launches their official, long-awaited iPhone 3G unlock. They call it, yellowsn0w. It’s not fully functional, but it is working. This release is named 0.9 beta, thus the official 1.0 release shouldn’t be too far off now.
For those in the wonder, yes, this release will work with the iPhone’s latest released firmware; v2.2. In fact, that being said, this software will only work on v2.2.
We do note that you take precaution with this release, as it is noted to be a beta release. We, nor the Dev-Team are responsible for any internal damage done to your iPhone device. If you’re one to worry, just wait for the official 1.0 release. In fact, we here at Touch Podium highly suggest that you do so.
With that said, click here for your full instructions, download link, and then some!
Hope everyone had a very merry Christmas, and a great start to the new year! Sorry for my lack of posting as of late. I recently got rear ended by a 1/2 ton truck, which entitled my vehicle as ‘totaled’, meaning it wasn’t worth fixing. I received a check from my insurance company, and went on a 4 hour journey to pick myself up another vehicle of the same brand and name; Chevrolet Impala. I love how they ride, and will probably buy another Impala once this one dies out on me, too. Anyway, enough of my babbling on. Here comes some more news!
