Tap Tap Revenge: The NIN Edition

One of the very first greatest and most sleek looking free iPhone games has a sister app, this one based on the new Nine Inch Nails CD.
Although this one isn’t free, it’s still very worth the price it is retailing at, which is $4.99. The game is based solely on the new Nine Inch Nails CD, and is available on the iTunes App Store immediately.
The game apparently feels more responsive, and has a better flow than the original Tap Tap Revenge, but only consists of NIN tracks, which consists of 13 tracks, all picked by NIN frontman Trent Reznor.
Furthermore, if you can manage to get a score higher than 150,000 and post it online, you will be entered in a draw to receive a signed Les Paul guitar and tickets to the NIN show of your likings. Hey, not bad.

Actually, it’s based on the last two albums. One being “The Slip”, the other one being “Ghosts I-IV”.

To only include 13 tracks out of a possible 46 (48 if you include the two Ghosts bonus tracks) is pretty lame.
And I still don’t get the appeal of TTR. It has the problem a lot of iPhone games have. You spend a great deal of time blocking the screen playing the damn thing.
