30 Day ‘Make an iPhone Game Challenge’ Completed; Game to be on App Store Soon

by Jody Mitoma on October 9, 2008 at 3:50 pm

Have a look at the two videos below, which show the final production of the new developers game; Apocalypse.

This guy has actually managed to create an entire iPhone game in no more than 30 days, sound, graphics, programing and all. That is quite the accomplishment if you ask me.

What’s even more impressive is the fact that this lad didn’t even know Object-C or Cocoa Touch programming 30 days ago. That’s right, he learned the two programming languages as part of the 30 day challenge! Wow!

Have a look at the two final videos, posted on YouTube, of this guy’s work:

About the game, and its development process:

Demo of the game itself:

If you care to see any of the previous videos (there are a good 10 or so videos before the one’s shown above) of this man’s work, have a look at App Store Updates‘ website.

Congratulations, sir. You’ve done a phenomenal job, and I’m sure you’ve inspired many people to get into iPhone game development. Keep up the good work, and we hope to see more work by you in the near future. Can’t wait to see Apocalypse on the iPhone App Store!
