Note2Self App Makes it Possible to Record Audio with 2G iPod Touch

There it is. The second-generation iPod touch has the official ability to record audio using a newly released application named Note2Self. (iTunes Link)

We all knew the new iPod touch had the ability to record, but we hadn’t had a recording application until now. You can record audio using Apple’s new headphones announced at their Let’s Rock event, which feature a built in microphone and a remote.


These suckers go for US$79.99.

User pismodude2 of the Mac Rumors forums posted a video of the application in action. Have a look at said video here.

For you college/uni folks, this app will make life easier for you, now that youhave the ability to record entire lectures with you iPod touch.
