Snapture 2.1 Released

If that wasn’t perfect timing I don’t know what is. Following Planetbeing and Poorlad’s release of QuickPwn for Windows, Snapture Labs have now released Snapture 2.1, appropriately named since it now supports firmware 2.1 as well.
For those of you who haven’t taken the plunge to firmware 2.1 yet (and really, you ought to, it’s far better) there are still reasons to upgrade. This latest version includes a new beta feature:
There are 3 new colour filter modes: Red, green, and blue, which will take pictures that filter out all colours but the one selected. This results in some pretty cool and artistic photos — I whipped up a few samples here:
It might just be me, but I also seem to have noticed that startup is a little bit quicker than it was before, which is nice.
You can grab Snapture 2.1 on Cydia — now that both Mac and Windows users can Pwn, this should no longer be a problem.
(Thanks for the heads up, Bowei!)
