Pangea Software Sale For iPhone/Touch

by Adam Yan on September 15, 2008 at 6:00 pm

Pangea Software, one of the first companies to develop and be featured at an Apple Event for the iPhone/iPod Touch are currently having a limited time sale on all their games/applications. They’ve been developing from the start of the race of the iPhone SDK and App Store. Believe me, they aren’t a cheap software company. They’re games and applications are all amazing, stable and fun. Pangea has all of it’s software on a sale which includes (all titles are direct iTunes links to the corresponding applications):

  • Enigmo $4.99 (Was $9.99) – One of the greatest 3D puzzle games in iPhone/Touch history. Truly amazing physics engine and delivers tons of fun and hours of good gaming.
  • Cro-Mag Rally $1.99 (Was 5.99) – This was one of the first racing games out for the iPhone/Touch and is mostly referred to as the Mario Kart for the iPhone/Touch.
  • Billy Frontier $3.99 (Was 5.99) – This is a whole array of games in one, which includes a nifty first person shooter.
  • Pangea VR Pro $14.99 (Was $19.99) – One of the only (or the only?) panoramic viewers for the iPhone/Touch. It gives you a whole 360 degree view of a place instead of a just a flat picture, you gotta see to believe.

I’m a little late on the band wagon so this deal’s been going on for a bit and I’m unsure when it’ll end. So, go get’em now. You’re only saving money and getting a ton of valuable software, it’s a steal if you ask me.

PangeaVR Pro is the same as the free PangeaVR, but it allows saving panoramas locally. Marco Giorgini’s CubeWorld is also now available in the App Store, and it also allows saving panoramas locally — but it doesn’t have nearly the same selection of panoramas that Pangea does. It is, however, free.

Enigmo was kick-ass on the Dell Axim X50v/X50v though. Love that game.

Cro-Mag on sale for $2 was definitely something I couldn’t pass up. I didn’t have any other racing game before because I am not a huge fan of them, but at $2, it is a steal! So I downloaded it and I am really enjoying it so far. I recommend it to anyone who wants to get a really cheap solid racing app! And of course Enigmo is really fun as well at normal price, so on sale is a must have.
