iPhone Firmware 2.1 Confirmed, Released to Public

There it is; the iPhone 2.1 software update that we’ve all been hoping for. Apparently it fixes a lot of issues that the previous software update either created, or hadn’t fixed from previous firmwares before it. Steve states, ”This is a big update, it fixes lots of bugs. Fewer dropped calls, big battery life improvements. No crashes with Apps. Backing up is faster.”
“Some great new performance enhancements… free to all owners, available this Friday.”
Nothing about Push Notification, though, Steve? Awww, come on!…
