Apple in More Trouble Over 3G Data Speed Issues

by Jody Mitoma on September 4, 2008 at 6:05 pm

One man from San Diego claims that Apple and AT&T knowingly over-sold the iPhone 3G causing a network overload, which in turn slowed data throughput. He writes this in relation to yesterday’s north-eastern data outage which disallowed many iPhone 3G (and any other cellphone) owners to access data through their cellular network.

It’s funny how iPhone 3G owners are the ones who complain the most, even if they aren’t the only ones suffering from these issues.

Anyway, the San Diego man is hoping to eventually rank the lawsuit as a class-action status, which I doubt will go through, but we’ll just wait and see what happens there.
