Facebook App to be Getting an Update Soon; Ability to Tag Photo’s on the Go

by Jody Mitoma on September 2, 2008 at 10:52 pm

The Facebook application has been a big hit, at one point being the second most downloaded application on the App Store, if I’m not mistaken. I’m not too sure how well it is doing to this day, but I’m sure it isn’t doing too bad… just because it’s Facebook, and its user-base is in the hundreds-of-millions.

Word on the street is that the Facebook application is getting an update soon, with the ability to tag photographs within your profile, and the profile of others. Have a look at the preview video below to have a better understanding of what I am trying to explain.

Cool. Tagging on the go. This’ll come in handy for those whom have iPhones, and can actually take and upload photos on the go, unlike me, whom is the sore owner of simply an iPod Touch. Hehe.
