Tap Tap Revenge Has Been Updated to v1.2, Bringing In Great New Features

Tapulous has released an updated version of their top-selling free application; Tap Tap Revenge v1.2.

This is quite the update, if I do say so myself. For starters, there is the addition of a brand new mode called “Revenge Mode”, which you can activate by shaking the iPhone/iPod Touch — but only after you’ve successfully gotten 50 notes in a row. Once Revenge Mode has been activated, the background and the notes will turn purple, and all notes will be multiplied by 8x for more points. While demoing the new version, it seemed to me that Revenge Mode stays on for as long as you don’t miss a note.

What’s more is the update fixes a lot of bugs, tweaks, and adds several new features such as the addition of your multiplier always being displayed at the top left corner, and the amount of notes you’ve hit in a row at the top right corner.

A downfall of the new version of TTR is the fact that it has advertisements, but with all honesty, this is barely a downfall at all. The ads are small, and at the bottom of the screen - out of the way. The fact that Tap Tap Revenge is a FREE high-quality, fun, single & two-player game, advertisements such as the one’s v1.2 adds are more than welcome.

What’s more is when checking out the announcement about v1.2 within the game itself, it is said that there will be an “exciting announcement on Thursday”, which brings us to today. Keep on the look-out!
