Screenies of the Upcoming Nike+ App for iPhone/Touch. (UPDATED: Fake)
by Jody Mitoma on August 19, 2008 at 11:35 pm
The screens within this post are what iPhone.fr (via Gizmodo) claims to be the upcoming Nike+ application for the iPhone and iPod Touch.
Nike+ is an accessory for the iPod Nano that has been available for quite some time now, which allows you to track your running times, and more.
See here for more information on Nike + iPod.
Its been known that a version of Nike+ has been coming to the iPhone and iPod Touch for some time now, but not much information, nor a release date has been given to this day.
Looking at the screenshots provided, it looks as if you’ll be able to map your runs (or walks for those less-athletic such as myself!) using a mapping application.
Here are a few more screens for your viewing pleasure:

Update (August 21s):
According to AppleInsider, the screenshots provided by iPhon.fr are found to be fake. Apple doesn’t offer iPhone developers a programming interface for accessing one’s music, yet this programs screenshots showed someone listening to Chris Martin. (see here)
