iPhone Firmware (Software Update) 2.0.2 Released

by Jody Mitoma on August 18, 2008 at 9:15 pm

Apple earlier this evening released another firmware; iPhone 2.0.2 Software Update.

The update is available to all, including iPod Touch users.

Apple reports that this firmware is simply for “Bug Fixes”, however, we’re still waiting on others to see if anything new has been added to the inner codding.

Early reports state that the firmware is a bit quicker than the last, and that Netshare still works – for those of you who are interested.

So far, it doesn’t look like this firmware update fixes the issue of those who were having problems with 3G connectivity. Sorry folks!

So if you’re not too worried about losing your jailbroken software, go on and download the update. If you notice any changes, please don’t hesitate to drop us a line at tips [at] touchpodium.com. Thanks.
