Mophie Unveil Juice Packs for 3G, Touch

You may recall some time back that a wee company called Mophie unveiled a rather sleek and really quite green slip-on external battery for the first-generation iPhone that claimed to more than double the iPhone’s own battery life.
Looks like Mophie haven’t forgotten about iPod Touch users, and are also hard at work on one for the iPhone 3G as well. The Apple-certified accessory features the same non-slip soft-grip case and LiPoly battery with some rather funky blue LEDs on the back, and boasts the ability to juice you up with an additional 350 hours of standby, 6 hours of 3G talk time, 28 hours of music playback, and 8 hours of video.
That’s the good news. The bad news is that it won’t be shipping until December, so you may not get it in time to stuff it under the tree for your favourite Apple mobile-loving human being, but you can preorder the iPhone or iPod Touch versions now for a Hamilton to make sure you’re at least on the shipping list.
