Winterboard Brings Theming to Firmware 2.0

Yeah, 2.0 is great and all, but we know one of the primary killer apps you’re waiting for: Summerboard. But it hasn’t been updated yet, has it?
Worry not, springboard pimpers. iPod Touch Fans member Saurik has got ya back, because he has just released Winterboard, a brand new springboard themer designed specifically for jailbroken Firmware 2.0 devices.
WinterBoard is still in its early stages and does not feature all of the options Summerboard does (or any, really), but since it is both a brand new, from-scratch themer and barely a day old, give it time before it becomes a robust 2.0 themer. The good news is that Winterboard supports all Summerboard themes, and there are plenty of those available and ready for use.
Winterboard, which you’ll find in Cydia, is incredibly simple to use; in only displays a list of themes to choose from, and will apply the one you choose when you tap on it. (Be patient; it doesn’t appear to do anything, but it will respring the device after a 5-10 seconds)There is also a small selection of themes available in Cydia for those who do not want to install them manually through FTP/SCP, but the selection is growing constantly, so keep checking back.
Winterboard works fine with Customize 2.0, so those of you who are all about pimping out your device to the highest possible extent will be glad to hear that they can continue to do so.
So what are you waiting for? Winterboard awaits in Cydia!
