Apple is Sliced

apple

We all saw this coming. Apple has taken on so many new tasks that it has crashed. Think about it. Apple has just released its holy grail of a phone. It is pretty much sold out already, on its first day. Then you have the new firmware. This firmware is going to completely change how iPhones and iPods are functioning. The only way to get this new firmware is through a new version of iTunes.

What could go wrong?

So far, new iPhone 3G phones aren’t working. They won’t sync at AT&T or on computers. This basically makes those people who waited in line for hours to get their phones holding a useless piece of hardware. For anyone using iTunes, the update links to download version 7.7 aren’t working. This means that old iPhone users and iPod Touch users cannot get a hold of the new firmware, since 7.7 is required to download it. Even if one were to have a working version of iTunes 7.7, the links to download firmware 2.0 aren’t working either. Plus, people have encountered bugs with the newly released firmware.

So Apple, did you bite off a little more than you could chew?
