Pwnage? On My iPhone 2.0? It’s More Likely Than You Think

Lest you think it’s going to be a bit of a wait before you can jailbreak your shiny new Firmware 2.0 device (be it a first-gen iPhone or iPod Touch with 2.0, or a glossy iPhone 3G), rest assured, the iPhone Dev Team are on the case, and they’ve got the video to prove it.
Their new video shows a work-in-progress version of the latest Pwnage tool, showing off some of its new features, and it has been confirmed to work on both pre- and post-2.0 devices. The video doesn’t actually show an iPhone 2.0 (or any device, actually) being Pwned, so don’t expect a practical demo here, but you will at least get to sneak a peek at the latest and greatest forthcoming version.
As you might expect, the Mac version is shown here, so you can expect a bit of a delay before WinPwn makes it debut following the Mac Pwnage tool’s release.
Check out the official Dev Team video below.
