Honlai Bringing Portable Projection to iPhone

In case you’re the sort of person who gets jealous every time you see another phone that’s capable of splashing its screen all over walls for everyone to see, Honlai is working on something that should help solve your projection issues. (Though you really should see a shrink about that…)
The Honlai QingBar MP101, currently in its prototype stage, was demoed at the recent Computex show, and lets you dock your iPhone and project its screen onto a wall to show off your funky pics and videos and whatever else you want (keep it clean, people) in 15-27 glorious inches.
Although perhaps glorious isn’t quite the word, as the projector only pumps out 10-15 lumens (about as much as a pocket LED flashlight) with a meager 200:1 contrast ratio. Still, for impromptu moments when you want to show off pictures of your new dog or are unexpectedly called upon to give a PowerPoint presentation against the rustic wallpaper of your local cafe, this’ll do the trick. You’ll even be able to get it in hot red, for when piano black isn’t stylish enough for your current environs.
