App Store to be Available June 27th

Visiting the Australian Apple Online Store, you will notice that there is a small image (see right) that gives off the intention that the App Store will be available to us (or, at least Australians) on June 27th. Have a look at the Australian Apple Online Store page here.

This goes completely against the statement that was given at this years Keynote saying we’d get access to the App Store in early July, but that’s completely fine with us, Apple. Open the doors to the greatly anticipated App Store, and let us through!

Hmm would the app store open before the final SDK (non-beta) is released? Doesn’t seem quite right.

Apple Australia are well known for being “out of the loop”. (i live in Aus)
