Hutchison Bringing iPhone to Hong Kong and Macau Later This Year

by Jody Mitoma on June 2, 2008 at 7:01 pm

According to a one-sentence press release on May 29th, Hong Kong company “Three / 3″ a.k.a. Hutchison Telecommunications Limited announced that it has signed an agreement with Apple Inc. to bring the iPhone to Hong Kong and Macau later this year.

Looks like Apple is slowly but surely taking over the cellphone industry - not in just one or two countries, but world-wide - with their innovative iPhone after all.

We’ll keep you informed of any other countries jumping on the iPhone band-wagon as we hear the news.

By the way, just a quick reminder: WWDC08 / Steve Jobs’ Keynote presentation begins in just one week!
