Google’s Android OS or Apple’s iPhone OS? Pick Your Weapon Carefully.

by Jody Mitoma on June 2, 2008 at 7:42 pm

Google is making process with their upcoming cellphone interface; Android. I’m sure most of you have heard about it by now, am I right?

You can read all about the latest news in regards to Android here.

One thing (of possibly many) that makes the iPhone OS better than Android, is the fact that the iPhone sports a multi-touch touchscreen, whilst Google’s Android looks to only support single-touch.

Reason for writing about Google’s Android OS this evening is because I want to know what you guys – being potential buyers – for both the second-generation iPhone, and cellphones sporting Google’s Android OS – think about it all. Are you thinking about buying an Android-based cellphone next?… a 3G iPhone?… or maybe something completely irrelevant? Also, do you think Google’s upcoming Android OS will compete with Apple’s iPhone OS? Please, share your thoughts within the comments.
