It is said that Singapore Airlines is installing iPod/iPhone docks, along-side 15.4 inch widescreen LCDs in their all-business class airbus A340-500 flights betwen NY/LA and Singapore.
All customers can dock their iPhone or iPod, and watch their very own movies on the included noise-cancelling headphones (which will be interrupted when the captain wants to tell you something “important”.
Please let us know about your experience with these airlines if ever you’ve come across using them for any purpose.

My dad flys singapore air from JFK to Singpore every three months when he goes back to work, and he has said many great things about flying. He has taken hundreds of flights over the years and that Singapore Air had the best customer service he’s ever experienced, so this news doesn’t surprise me.
