Comoki’s Wikipedia Web App. Yes, Another Mobile Wikipedia…

by Jody Mitoma on May 22, 2008 at 12:14 pm

The iPhone web-app developer known as Comoki has revealed a new iPhone-compatible Wikipedia interface (see here). This is, of course, not the first of iPhone-based Wikipedia applications, but it surely does have a nice user friendly interface.

This Wikipedia app goes as far as to include a “Save” feature, and has some nice web-formatting like no other, which includes making bulleted lists collapsible. One thing that Comoki is lacking is the ability to search-as-you-type, which certain other mobile of Wikipedia do include.

The applications just keep on rollin’. Not too sure why someone would want to work on an app (or, such as in this situation, a web app) that has already been worked on multiple times in the past, but there you have it.
