Gizmodo Reports iPhone Coming June 9th; Pretty Confident

Gizmodo is reporting that they’ve got reports from sources very, very close to the 3G iPhone that it is to be launched June 9th, 2008.

Gizmodo writes:

We all suspected it, but now it is confirmed: someone very, very close to the 3G iPhone launch has told me that Apple will announce their new model at the WWDC Keynote on June 9th. The second-generation iPhone will be available worldwide right after the launch, and not at year’s end, as previously thought. The new model will also herald new sales policies in some countries.

It is being rumored that in Spain, the 3G iPhone will be available for purchase on June 18th - the opening of Telefonica’s megastore - an Apple Store-like shop located in the company’s historical building in Madrid’s Gran Via- with nationwide availability as soon as a couple hours after.

As Gizmodo is, of course a pretty reliable source in my eyes - and in the eyes of many gadget geeks, I still suggest you take it with a grain of salt or ten.
