Nullriver Software and RiP Dev have come up with a new Installer.app update; v3.11. Within this update, there are actually quite a few additions from the last.
Have a quick look at the list provided below to see what’s been added and changed:
- Search bar in uninstall.
- Repositories will not be saved in Cache anymore.
- Now you can make a .zip file and put it to ~/Media/Installer…
- Fast relaunch of SpringBoard without going into Lock Screen for 1.1.3/4
- Dynamic size of the field More Info for Sources
- Russian Localization from RiP Dev
- Option to update sources individually, that mean you can refresh 1 source rather then waiting for all of them to refresh (it will be optional, so you could still do a regular refresh)
- And of course, bug fixes.
Now all they’ve godda do is add an alphabetical list on the far right when going through the “All Programs” folder. It takes far too long to scroll through that list – and having to scroll back down to the letter “S” after installing something from that section is a pain in the ass. I’m sure this can easily be added, and would make a world of a difference. Yes, you can always just search the letter “S”, but it just isn’t the same.
Anyway, the update is great! Keep up the phenomenal work Nullriver & RiP Dev.
