Pieces 1.0 Puzzle Game [Updated; Pieces 1.1]

The objective of this game is to move the pieces around to unscramble the given image. The pieces with arrows indicate which corner they belong in, which is pretty helpful, especially at the more difficult levels!

If you tap anywhere on the puzzle screen, you will be brought up a bar with two options; Setup and Picture. Setup allows you to, of course, play with the settings. The settings panel allows you to change the size of the puzzle pieces, ranging from 40 to 80.

The Picture options panel will bring up a list of picture files. This allows you to select a different image to puzzle around with. However, an Apple iPhone School reader states: To get this feature to work correctly, you will have to SSH into your device, and be sure to change the permissions of /Applications/Pieces.app/current_game to 775. (Don’t worry about doing this - see update below.)

Once you’ve completed a puzzle, meaning it’s been fully solved, you will receive a pop-up congratulating you. To play another puzzle, simply tap Ok.

Update:
Pieces 1.1 is now available.

The update allows you to choose from a list of pictures to unscramble. The pictures are also now displayed in landscape mode.

Pieces.app can be found via the iSpazio Repository; http://repo.ispazio.net
