Control Future Surveillance Cameras with the iPhone/iPod Touch

Member Alex Bratton of Lextech, informed TUAW about a fun iPhone project they’ve been working on.
Most high-end surveillance systems use a joystick or mouse to control the cameras angels and zooming. Lextech has done something innovative, and made a serveillance system that makes use of the iPhones/iPod Touchs multi-touch screen.
To pan the surveillance camera, you scroll the screen left or right using the traditional iPhone finger drag; tilt is done by dragging a finger up and down. You can zoom in by using the iPhones pinch-out, pinch-in features.
