iPhone-Dedicated Mobile deviantART Website Goes Live

by Jody Mitoma on May 13, 2008 at 11:45 am

The worlds largest online art community has just gone mobile! That’s right, the deviantART website now has its very own mobile version, which is automatically loaded when it detects your iPhone and/or iPod Touch device. Cool! It’s about damn time, too!

I’ve been a member of the deviantART community since way back when. I mean, way back. Back before there were even 5 million deviations uploaded! Today there are over 56 million, and growing by thousands more each and every day. The deviantART community is a very friendly, sharing, and very talented bunch of folks. If you’re looking for inspiration, may it be for a website layout, graphic, or photograph, deviantART is the place to look. Like I said, there are over 56 MILLION pieces of art that have been uploaded to the website database since its debut 7 years ago – in 2001.

If you’re bored, feel free to have a look at my page, here - dating back to Nov 23rd, 2002!

Go on and give the website a visit – may it be on your computer, or your iPhone/iPod Touch via the new mobile website! (The mobile website will load automatically when you browse to the websites default URL: http://www.deviantart.com)

CrazyRodeoGirl – in Safari on the iPhone, clear the cookies (since that is where DA stored the “mobile or not” setting… I did the same thing as you, it’s easily fixed…

hey, I was just had a quick question; on my iPhone it won’t load the home DA page, so I can’t sign in. It gets 3/4 of the way loaded, then jumps back to my main apps page. Do you know what’s going on, or what I can do to fix it?
    thanks :)
