iPhone “Black” Model Now Available from AT&T Online

by Jody Mitoma on May 12, 2008 at 11:39 am

AT&T Wireless is listening a second model of the iPhone in its device database. This device is being called the “iPhone Black”. Could this be the name of the second generation iPhone? Did AT&T make another bo-bo?.. It wouldn’t be hard to believe. AT&T staff seems to be making quite a few mistakes recently.

Remember a number of days ago, when it was rumored that the next iPhone would be inclosed in a black plastic casing? This is just making things more believable.

The option to select an “iPhone Black” model is visible alongside the traditional “iPhone” for existing AT&T Wireless customers who are logged into their account on the carrier’s website, and who choose to select or update their handset model.

So, could this be the 3G iPhone?… You can count on us to keep you informed!
