Apple Inc. on Tuesday released a 5th beta of their iPhone SDK for developers, as well as an updated firmware for developers to work with.

The changes from this new beta release from the last can be here if you have an online SDK account.

According to commentors, the 5th beta of the iPhone SDK comes with a brand new plist editor. Commentors are also stating that the reason for the smaller download this time around is because Apple is getting rid of code within the software kit that is not required.

It is being said that the download is just over 1GB in size.

Developers, get downloading!
