Rumor: Is This the 3G iPhone?

The French iPhone website; iPhone.fr, has some supposed next-generation iPhone images. (see above)
They follow what we know so far about the shape, size and color of the upcoming 3G iPhone.
Do keep in mind however, according to Engadget commenter’s, these images look very similar to LG’s Vu, which is fairly true - but I don’t see why someone would take the time to edit the hell out of the Vu, to make it look like the next-generation iPhone.
I apologize for the rumors, folks! Truly, I do.

It’s a crock. Has to be. The case rumour (which, for the record, I do believe since we’ve seen this exact thing leak numerous times in the past and the track record has been pretty good) shows dimensions that just don’t jibe with these alleged photos. Plus, there is no freakin’ way Apple’s industrial design team did that. That is about as generic a candybar design as you could dream up — like a project case made to hold the innards until the real case is finished — and Apple does not do generic. I mean, look at that thing. Squared edges. Semigloss finish. I’ve seen Chinese knockoffs that look classier than that.
Nope. Not buyin’ it. Not for a second. My opinion? Someone took my Rumour Construction Kit to its logical conclusion: Fake mockups! I’m glad I could be of service…

I do tend to agree Eric. This mock-up looks ugly in my fair opinion.
