Rumor: Case Manufacturer Supposedly Gets the 3G iPhone Size Specifications

Hey look. Another 3G iPhone rumor!
According to iLounge, Apple has provided case manufacturers with detailed specifications of the upcoming next-generation iPhone. The image above is an apparent mock-up of the basic 3G iPhone size specs and available colors.
iLounge says that developers and case manufacturers believe the specs to be correct and have already started work on accessories, but we cannot know for sure.
Don’t worry folks. We should know for sure within the next month or so.
I personally don’t believe this to be true, because why would the case manufacturer reveal this information to the public? I’m sure Apple Inc. told them that this information was to be kept a secret. Also, The image provided above just doesn’t look very professional - so unless this image is a mock-up made by the case manufacturing company, I can’t see this as being valid.
Time will tell.

You’d think Apple of all companies would have an extremely strict NDA in regards to this sort of thing.
Fake.

Not necessarily. I’ve seen this happen several times before, and it has eventually panned out. Case manufacturers don’t exactly have the same sort of strict information control that Apple does — hell, not many companies do — so it’s not all that unbelievable that this should happen.
Heck, not even Apple is infallible. Remember the 3G Nano? We saw “spy shots” as early as August 22nd, a full two weeks before the September 5th event.
