RepoName Beta Released - Search an App and Get its Repo Source

by Jody Mitoma on April 28, 2008 at 12:08 pm

DAV Team

C0DeR_4_liFe of the iPod Touch Fans community recently shared the news of the DAV Team’s (with the help of iPod Touch Fans member Spoonforknife) newest application release; RepoName.app.

RepoName allows you to search an application name, providing you with the correct repository source link so that you can download the application you’ve been looking for with ease.

The DAV Team plans on releasing an updated version of this app, allowing for you to download the app you searched from within the RepoName application.

Note: This application requires Jiggy.app to be installed.

RepoName.app, and Jiggy.app, are also available via the DAV Team Repository; davteam.com/repo.xml

The next RepoName.app release will include:

  • A better set up
  • Different wording, and
  • Possibly the ability to add to Installer
