New English Questions for Millionaire.app - Go From 85 Questions, to Over 1,000!

Millionaire - Now with a database of over 1,000 questions!

iPod Touch Fans user Solomon recently made available to us, an ENGLISH ONLY database of over 1,040 Millionaire.app questions.

He says he got the questions via the PSP (Playstation Portable) version of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire.

Installation instructions:

Simply browse to /var/mobile/Media/Millionaire/questions/ and replace the english.db file with the new one in the attached zip file above. (Thanks Edwards!)

Very well done, Solomon. This’ll make the game ten times more interesting!

My next project is to see if I can get change the currency from Euro to Dollars.

Update (April 26th, 10:00am (GST -05:00)):

Actually, it is being said that the new English.db is now a part of the actual Millionaire.app, so, downloading the newest version of Millionaire.app will grant you access to the 1,040+ questions without the need to download this database. Cool! (Thanks Leo)

    this is kind of old news. Infact, he says that this database is included in the most recent versions

    I just added this, thanks so much but the question files go in /var/mobile/Media/Millionaire/questions/
    not in the actual Millionaire.app lol!

    Yes Leo, I do apologize for the sort-of-old-news.

    There is a lot of iphone/ipod touch news to write about, and if you were to read the recent “Site News” post, you’d of noticed that I’ve been quite busy with 3 jobs, schooling, and more.

    Eric and I are working as fast we could, without effecting our personal, and working lives. Please bare with us as we try and get the news out to you all as soon as we possibly can. :)

    I’m responsible for the questions being in the new database and I think that it is cool to see my username on your site. I’ll admit that it is a little late because anyone downloading the new game can get the new db from Installer, but thank you sir for calling attention to my hard work. It took me a good day (with a number of breaks) to convert all of those questions.

    hi everyone …

    I have the millionaire on my iphone and it works perfectly …
    i tried to install it on my gf’s iphone but the game and questions aren’t on the ispazio source anymore …
    So i took te file from mine to put on hers (smart me! or so I thought :-p) …
    i installed millionaire app and set the proper authorizations to read/write …
    then i found the questions and intalled them on var/mobile/Media/Millionaire/questions/ (i had to create the folders Millionaire/questions) but it still says language pack not found …
    there must be a file or 2 i’m missing …

    anyone help me please … merci
