psx4iphone v0.3.0 Beta is Out; Brings Performance Increase; Video Preview

psx4iphone v0.3.0

Playstation on the iPhone. Cool, right? Well, it was a cool concept, but when beta testers gave the first and second beta’s a test, it was problem after problem, and slow-running games.

Well, according to ZodTTD, v0.3.0 brings in some performance increases, and (hopefully) fixes the issue of certain games not working in the previous version; 0.2.0.

As you most likely already know, the beta release of psx4iphone is only available to those who send ZodTTD a donation. You can do that here. Once you’ve donated to him, you will not only have access to px4iphone beta’s, but to all future application beta’s released by him as well.

    Wow, never realised just how bad performance was in that. Always figured it’d be bad, but that’s horrendous!

    True, it’s not very good in the grand scheme of things, but for a 412MHz device that’s actually not half bad for PSX emulation.

    HI,

    great for bringing out 0.3.0 only, my games crash when i have spsc0001.bin in the roms/psx folder, and without it it asks for the file in that folder.

    so it doesnt work 4 me
