CocoaTouch Games Keep It Simple, Choclatey

We may not be able to play Flash-based games, but that’s not stopping CocoaTouch Games‘ founder David Janik-Jones from designing simple casual games that look like them. These games are intended to be easy to pick up and learn, and can be played anywhere for even just a few minutes at a time. With their simple graphics and at-you-please gameplay, CocoaTouch Games are hoping they will be able to provide players with an experience that can kill a few minutes in line, a waiting room, or while you’re trying to ignore the incessant nattering of the guy with the cell phone in the bus seat next to you.
The initial lineup will consist of Big Bounce (a finger-controlled avoidance game), CocoaBot (a simple 10-level accelerometer-controlled platformer), Cocoa Marbles (a finger-controlled marble-smacking game), and Flick Car (a finger-flickin’ automobile circuit game). All games will feature global high score charts.
CocoaTouch Games are aimed squarely at an AppStore release this summer for around $3-5 per game.
