AT&T is taking over the Starbucks hotspots, in which T-Mobile previously owned. Reportidly, a Starbucks lcoation in Texas already has AT&T hotspots.

You are granted with two free hours per day, thorugh AT&T’s new Starbucks hotspots. The company designed a nice portal to make it easy for iPhone users to log in. You are even able to purchase a membership, or simple one day passes. You can even do this by using a coupon, or a prepaid card, right on the phone (or iPod Touch) itself.

A specific store manager that David Chartier spoke with stated that it is aimed for AT&T to have taken over ~7,000 Starbucks stores by Summer’s end.

I’ve yet to ever visit a *$ (Starbucks - Get it?) location myself, as we don’t have any in Ontario, Canada. My Tim Horton’s makes me happy, however. :)
