Snapture Gets Big Update to 1.3

by Eric March on April 17, 2008 at 12:40 am

snapture13.jpgMy favourite iPhone camera app, Snapture, has just been upgraded (twice!) with new features, changes and fixes. Most notably, version 1.2 fixes a problem that some people reported where the camera would either not save or overwrite older images when new pictures were taken. Images are now saved properly and consistently, so there should be no problems with this now.

The interface has also gone through some changes. The option buttons and zoom slider have changed places, which make it much easier to use in landscape mode, and the option buttons can now be hidden with an arrow button to give you fewer distractions and more viewfinder real estate. Additionally, the just-released version 1.3 adds a new toggle in the Options menu lets you hide the zoom slider.

The Snapture update is available now through Installer, and for you first-timers, it can be installed via the repos in Community Sources.
