Blog on the Go - Mobile WordPress & TypePad Apps Coming to iPhone

Mobile WordPress on iPhone

I’m excited to give out the upcoming WordPress application that is to be released sometime within the next few months (so we’ve heard) a go.

Matt Mullenwag; the big boss at WordPress, will only admit that there is a mobile device that has a WordPress client “built in,” and that “you can probably guess which one that is”.

Not only so, but company Six Apart is also working on a TypePad application for the iPhone as well - which, I’m sure, will act in the same manner as the upcoming WordPress app.

As you WordPress fans wait for the upcoming app, you may want to go ahead and give the WPhone plug-in a try. This plug-in optimizes the WordPress interface so that you can easier use it on your iPhone, or iPod Touch.

Check out a video below (fast foward 51 minutes into the vid to skip the boring crap!):

TypePad users can also already use an iPhone-optimized web app to update their blogs on-the-go at: http://i.typepad.com/

Additionally, TypePad supports Windows Mobile, Palm OS, and Symbian phones: http://www.typepad.com/mobile/
