Soulseek Client In Progress

For those of you who have been looking for a decent P2P client for your iPhone or iPod Touch, you may be in for a treat soon enough.
iSlsk, a project started by iPod Touch Fans member errrick early this past February, aims to be a full-featured Soulseek client that runs on your iPhone and iPod Touch. Ultimately, the aim will be to enable you to connect to the Soulseek network, search for files, download them, and (in the case of music and videos) add them directly to your internal library instead of having to save them to an arbitrary directory and play them with a third party media player.
Currently the project is still in its pre-alpha stages and cannot yet perform file transfers. However, a great deal of the UI has been worked on and completed, as you’ll see from the preview screenshots below, so progress, though slow, is definitely being made. Errrick’s schedule is fairly packed, with college and his social life competing with his coding time, so try not to bug him about updates. He does keep a blog with progress updates once in a while, so you can always check there, and there is a thread on iPod Touch Fans where you can also read up on it.
Stay tuned for more on this app soon.
